Guess what I spied on the Ralph Lauren runway. Pink jodhpurs, crimson jodhpurs, white jodhpurs. If there’s one place where jodhpurs seem completely appropriate, Ralph Lauren is it.
The designer celebrated 40 years of clothing fashionistas in his classic style with a collection that showed away from the tents in Central Park and combined everything we know Ralph for – riding jackets, top hats, and nods to both equestrian chic and Anglo dandyism.

Models took to the runway in black and white dresses and Derby-ready hats that looked as if they were pulled from the set of My Fair Lady. His first look was a white gown with black ruffle trim and a sweeping hat fit for Eliza Doolittle’s debut at the Ascot races. He continued the show with floral garden party dresses, cropped riding jackets paired with slim pants or flouncy skirts, and more clothes fit for a day at the races.
This over the top collection already has the fashion glitterati clamoring for 40 more years of Ralph!
