Vivara Emilio Pucci Eau de Parfum
What does Pucci smell like? It smells like lounging in an Italian villa with the sun streaming through the windows and the scent of lemon trees in your nose. So where can I get that every day without having to hop a flight and marry an Italian prince? Pucci Vivara is a reformulation of the designer’s original Vivara fragrance from the 1960’s. The new version retains some of it’s original chypre attributes with citrus top notes and woodsy base notes, but becomes modern with an infusion of fresh, green, light notes. The eau de parfum comes in 50 ml and 80 ml and the perfumed body mousse ($80) adds essential oils of lemon, tangerine, and cotton extract. The bottle is given a Pucci Vivara print top and a green glass base. Having a bottle this beautiful sitting on my vanity makes me almost as happy as having a Pucci dress in my closet. Almost.
Top notes: galbanum, bergamot, amaretto
Middle Notes: orange flower, jasmine, narcissus
Base Notes: iris, vetiver, patchouli
