Paz Vega and Tracee Ellis Ross both mined their closets for Prada to wear to the premiere of Trembled Blossoms, the design house’s first animated short film.

Paz Vega gave us glossy Hollywood glamour in an emerald green Prada sheath dress and slingback sandals while Tracee Ellis Ross stuck to her quirky chic style with full plaid skirt and a pair of Prada pumps with spats.

Oscar-nominated actor Djimon Hounsou is bigger than ever — especially in Hong Kong. Calvin Klein has erected this arresting advert on the front of the Ritz-Carlton hotel, taking up 100,000 square feet of space on all four sides. The 27-story tall billboard can be seen all the way across the harbor to the Kowloon side and features Hounsou in nothing but his Calvin Klein skivvies. Shot by Peter Lindbergh, the billboard is the largest in Asia in Calvin Klein history.

So Furious scanned the new House of Dereon ad featuring Beyonce. The one-page ad positions her clothing line as “where the sidewalk and catwalk meet”.

If you say so.

This ad confuses me on so many levels. First of all, why all the mean-mugging in the photo? Is she mad because her crown is askew? Because her purse looks cheap?

Oh Beyonce.

That’s what Suzy Menkes says. The fashion writer called her the “one icon who mattered in Paris this season” and compared her to Sophia Loren and Maria Callas.

Calling Amy Winehouse a fashion icon might get you some strange looks, but I can’t lie and say that I haven’t put my hair up in a big beehive and winged out my eyeliner at least a few times in the last two years. Rocking a pair of dingy Isotoners is where I draw the line though.
