The Mike & Chris “Maxwell” leather hoodie is a shrunken leather jacket from LA designers Mike Gonzalez and Christine Park-Gonzalez. I’m in love with its details like the covered leather buttons and pinstripe lining. And I kind of like the way these two kids decided to get married, whip up some leather hoodies, and created the hottest jacket of the season.
The jacket comes in both espresso and basic black and really does elevate the style of just about anything you pair it with. It looks good with jeans, but is cut slim and shrunken enough so that you can wear it on top of a dress and still look sexy.
Vogue covers the designers of this insanely popular jacket in the November ‘07 issue (the one with Jennifer Connelly on the cover), naming it one of the seven closet staples that will remain in style season after season.
