Kerry Washington in Tory Burch

Kerry Washington in Tory Burch
Kerry Washington in Tory Burch at the ACE Awards

Common’s girl and one of my favorite posh chicks, Kerry Washington, wore a silver Tory Burch minidress and silver Christian Louboutin peep toe pumps to the Accessories Council Excellence Awards in NYC.

Kerry’s dress isn’t available online, but try this Tory Burch sequined tunic for $300 (on sale from $700) or this silver Maggy London shift dress with geometric pattern for $128 (available at Nordstrom)

Get her Christian Louboutin Bling Bling Peep Toe Pumps at Saks for $1,325 or try this silver BCBGirls “Zaran” pump with button ornament on the toe for a much easier to swallow $89.

Roberto Cavalli as Karl Lagerfeld for Halloween

Roberto Cavalli dressed as Karl Lagerfeld and Petra Nemcova as Cleopatra for Cavalli’s Halloween party. Just one more reason to love Cavalli (and Karl too).

Takashi Murukami at MOCA Los Angeles

Billionaire Boys Club blog has shots from the Takashi Murakami exhibit and party at the MOCA in Los Angeles. The name Takashi Murakami should ring a bell in your fashion-forward ears from his mash-up with Marc Jacobs on the uber-popular Murakami bags for Louis Vuitton. Marc Jacobs, Kanye West, and Linda Evangelista were all in the house to celebrate the artist’s extensive body of work.

The exhibit features 90 pieces that span from the 1990’s to today. A fully-functional Louis Vuitton boutique has also been integrated into the exhibit.
Check out Marc Jacobs on video discussing his collaboration with Murakami at the MOCA website. The exhibit runs through February 11, 2008.

Swarovski Fashion Rocks Event

Naomi Campbell at Fashion Rocks event

Naomi Campbell with design duo Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana at Swarovski Fashion Rocks event in London. Other attendees included Kate Moss, Alicia Keys, and Jade Jagger.

Naomi always looks great, but that dress is an awkward length. I feel like there should be more of it. On a sidenote, Topshop is auctioning off the actual dress that Kate wore to this party.
