Who Looked Hot at the MTV European Music Awards?

Joss Stone must be really stepping her fashion game up because I’ve been loving her style lately. For the MTV European Music Awards, she took her look street with cornrowed sides and a swooped over bang hairstyle that was reminiscent of a late ’80’s. Where did she borrow the look from? Pepa’s ‘do in the Salt N’ Pepa Push It (1986) video.

She topped it off the urban look with with a fat gold chain, blinged out hoops, and a studded leather mini. Check more pics from Joss Stone and Kelly Rowland after the jump.

Halle Berry Embraces the Empire

An empire waist is the best thing ever invented for a baby body. It skims the bump while allowing you to show plenty of skin up top. Halle Berry wore a royal blue Versace gown straight off the Spring ‘08 runway to a London Film Festival screening of her movie Things I Lost in the Fire. The empire waisted style draped around her baby bump and showed off her amazing décolletage. But the best thing about this Versace dress is the view from the rear. The back is…well, back and the intricate series of criss-cross straps and braiding showed off her toned shoulders and amazing skin.

Berry carried her chic look to the Rome launch of Roberto Cavalli for H&M where she wore an ebony maxidress with jeweled embellishment on the bodice — by Cavalli, natch.

Carrie Bradshaw Gets Married…

Sex and the City wedding dress

So of course we have to have a great wedding dress! The first shots of Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding dress from Sex and the City: The Movie have been released. Not taking into account that blue thing nested in her hair, I think this is surprisingly simple for her character. The neckline of the dress is beautiful — the jeweled area on the left side of the dress isn’t overdone and makes it a little special. Shots of the rest of the wedding party after the jump.

Jennifer Hudson Does Sex and the City

Jennifer Hudson on the set of the Sex and the City movie

What kind of fuckery is this? Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson is set to play Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant in the Sex and the City movie. But what the hell is up with her wardrobe? I hope Pat Field isn’t having a problem dressing her curves. There are plenty of fab clothes for curvy girls, so there is no reason for her to be looking like a hot swap meet mess.

Since these are the first on set photos to come out featuring Jennifer Hudson, I am going to chalk this up to one bad outfit choice and hope the scene gets left on the cutting room floor.

Fair warning: when the movie comes out, I had better see J. Hud looking just as posh as the rest of the girls.
