It takes a lot to make me give up my blinged-out sequin ipod case. It goes everywhere with me and the black video ipod inside is as pristine as the day I bought it. Look ma, no chips!
But my friend Alison at BOA Case sent me a pretty, pink ipod case and I had to try it. The case is made from faux leather lined with jersey knit cotton and honestly, my first thought when I touched it was “how do I get sheets made out of this stuff”. The material is seriously addictive and it feels so soft that you just want to get naked and roll around on it.
However, the ipod sleeve disappointed me just a tad because I can’t actually use my ipod with the case on. It would have totally rocked my socks if the case had openings for my video screen and controls. That way I could keep it in my cool case while I used it. That would be uber-functional, right?
The BOA Case does a great job of keeping your electronics clean and free from oil and dust. So far, it’s more protective than functional, but hopefully, the coming limited and designer editions will introduce some additional functionality.
The best part about the BOA Clutch line is the price. They’re so inexpensive that you could buy a case to match every outfit you own. In addition to ipod cases, the line also includes super-skinny cases for your MacBook, iphone and Blackberry. Find out more about these chic accessories at http://www.boacase.com.
