Auf Wiedersehen Nina Garcia
Fashion Director Nina Garcia is officially out at Elle. According to WWD, the muy influential fashionista was ousted on Friday afternoon when she and the fashion glossy “parted ways” (read: she was fired).
So many questions.
Will future winners of Project Runway still get the prized fashion spread in Elle?
Was there a conflict with Nina doing Project Runway on one network and Elle mag soon to launch Fashionista, a reality show for the CW network?
Most importantly: will Nina Garcia start her own mag? (oooh…I hope so)
Either way, between Project Runway, book deals, and Blackberry endorsements, I don’t think Ms. Garcia is going to be worrying about how to afford another pair of Manolos anytime soon.

I agree with you on the magazine and the fact that she will not be out of a job in the industry
I usually liked her critiques, and definitely apprecaited hers, more than Heidi Klum’s sometimes very rude remarks.
