10 Years With Sean John
Can you believe Sean John has been ripping the runway for 10 years now? Time flies and even though Diddy has established Sean John as a major fashion brand, it feels like they just came on the scene.
Tune into MTV tonight to watch If I Were King, a 90-minute documentary that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the label by giving you a behind-the-scenes glimpse at what goes into designing the line and pulling together a runway show. The documentary shows the huge amount of work that goes into any show and what it took to bring the label back to Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter ‘08 season after a five year hiatus from the catwalk.
On April 2nd, MTV will debut Sean John: Internship by Design (Making the Band for the fashion set) where four fashion students complete design challenges and compete to see who will win a Sean John internship. Judges include designer (and my homeboi) Zac Posen, stylists June Ambrose and Marni Senofonte, as well as Diddy himself.
Diddy’s documentary airs tonight at 10 pm EST following True Life: I’m Going to Fashion Week at 9 pm EST.
